Job Summary
Essential Duties and Tasks
- Safely sets up operates and monitors lamination machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
- Completes lamination machine setup for production runs including loading materials adjusting settings and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Monitors the production process inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
- Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
- Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
- Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
- Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping storage staging and cleanliness requirements.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment(PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
- Effectively works with other departments or team members such as machine technicians supervisors and quality control inspectors to cooordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.
Qualifications Education and Experience
- HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred
- 2-4 years experience in a related field experience in a related field required.
- This position has no leadership duties.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal written and presentations) with executive leadership staff and internal and external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self-confident self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging fast-paced environment.
