Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Operator to support plastic injection molding machines and automation for medical device components. This role requires following work instructions performing inspections maintaining quality and collaborating effectively within a team.

Production Operations
Empty and refill boxing lines and other forms of automation for plastic injection molded components
Visually inspect parts for molding defects
Load metal inserts into mold cavities to create finished subassemblies
Follow work instructions to Label and package finished product.
Prepare organize and wrap skids in staging and warehouse areas
Loading raw material into plastic injection molding equipment Quality & Inspection
Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation.
Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Demonstrate awareness of departmental quality goals and ensure high workmanship.
Enter required data into systems and maintain accurate documentation.
Safety & Compliance
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area demonstrating strong housekeeping habits.
Adhere to all safety guidelines including equipment-specific requirements (e.g. safe operation of laser radiation sources in accordance with Resonetics personal protection policies).
Follow all company policies standard operating procedures and best practices.
Teamwork & Training
Conduct work professionally and maintain a high standard of performance and behavior.
Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Follow direction from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager at all times.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using a microscope for inspection or related tasks.
- Proficiency with basic metrology tools including micrometers gauges and calipers.
- Basic computer skills including data entry and navigation of production systems.
- Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment
- Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing.
- Use of optical inspection equipment. This may be defined as a magnifier microscope and/or equipment used for measuring capacity.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Good dexterity as many jobs require the handling of many small components.
- The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $20.00-$24.00
