The core responsibilities of this role include:

To provide guidance and coordination of the non-exempt Inventory Control and Quality Teams daily activities. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records relative to the client service level directly support a specific quality assurance program and quality control activities in support of site compliance of the DHL Quality Management System and customer and regulatory Operations Supervisor will assist site Operations Leadership in assessing picking and inventory inaccuracies and recommending corrective action necessary to support continuous process improvement and operational excellence.

• Ensure customer inventory control accuracy and shrink contractual requirements / service level agreements are monitored and reported timely to site leadership
• Maximize the performance of the site inventory processes and system to ensure: Care custody and control of customer inventory; Accuracy (to floor and customer book); Proper utilization of information technology
• Provide required documentation to customer customers financial statement auditor or appropriate regulatory auditor in support of compliance requirements
• Supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall quality system or a specific procedure including management review CAPA management internal quality audits quality self-assessments change control document control and standard operating procedures/work instructions.
• Provide support on key regulatory customer and 3rd party audits.
• Track monitor and report quality assurance metrics for the site.
• Monitor the training and development of site associates to ensure compliance to processes and regulations
• Be a customer point of contact for QA related issues/initiatives as assigned.
• Partner with IC/QA management to develop distribute and maintain regular management reports.
• Meet regulatory requirements relevant to their operations on a daily basis
• Ensure customer service and business standards requirements are met daily
• Ensure a safe secure clean and fair work environment for associates
• Conduct associate performance reviews individual development plans and succession plans
• Ensure company policies are communicated administered and enforced at appropriate levels
• Ensure associates have proper training and access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned tasks

Operations Supervisor - Distribution

The Operations Supervisor role has a national salary range of $62500 - $70000.

For roles in California the range is $70304 - $82000 and for roles in Washington the range is $80169 - $82000.

Job Description:

• Lead motivate and develop a diverse team of frontline associates by providing coaching guidance and support as needed while also developing a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Take proactive measures to consistently uphold compliance with health and safety regulations fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas of improvement. Provide regular reports and analysis to management highlighting achievements challenges and recommendations for enhancing warehouse operations.
• Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration facilitating regular and effective dialogue among leadership and associates to promote transparency alignment and teamwork.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1 years operations experience in a lead/supervisor/management role preferred.
• 1 years logistics industry experience preferred.
• Staff management workload planning objective setting and organizational skills preferred.
