Location: Akron OH (100% Onsite)

Compensation: $90000$110000/year DOE

Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM4:00 PM

Relocation: Considered for the right candidate; local preferred

About Our Client

Our client is a small privately owned and growing metal plating manufacturer in Akron seeking a hands-on Operations & Production Manager to lead the Akron facility day-to-day owning the shop floor keeping jobs moving holding the team accountable and driving quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations and lead the 9-person team
• Manage six job-shop production lines and a rotating production mix
• Run a first-in/first-out workflow via production board and Excel; set priorities and keep jobs moving
• Manage staffing workflow throughput quality documentation and on-time delivery
• Hold employees accountable for procedures and documentation
• Ensure quality expectations and customer specs are consistently met
• Troubleshoot production and process issues; coordinate maintenance and preventative maintenance
• Partner with the Office Manager/quality-manufacturing function and leadership
• Maintain a safe organized shop and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

Experience: 23 years of hands-on plating/electroplating experience strongly preferred but not required. Strong manufacturing machine operations production or operations management experience in a technical/process-driven environment also considered.
