Job Description Summary

Dauch is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in Minerva OH.

The Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operations of manufacturing facilities. Defines monitors and is held responsible for overall operations performance. Implements production cost and quality-control mechanisms. Oversees operations ensuring that schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively. Manages staffing development and performance management programs for operations staff; manages motivates and develops management team. Manages relationships with business sales and engineering; defines delivers and manages required service levels. Coordinates strategies communications and joint initiatives for facility.

Job Description:

• Manage product and operations associate outcomes by recruiting selecting orienting training assigning scheduling coaching counseling and disciplining associates; communicating job expectations; planning monitoring appraising and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

• Achieve product and operations operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production productivity quality customer-service safety security and health standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; identifying developing and implementing system improvements.

• Contribute to product and operations management and organization success by welcoming related different and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.

• Determine Plant priorities by reviewing customer orders and requirements; analyzing equipment materials and associate availability; coordinating schedules with sales and warehousing; issuing processing plans and schedules.

• Coordinate Plant processing priorities by reviewing processing output and new requirements.

• Resolve processing scheduling problems by analyzing reports; reviewing equipment materials and associate availability; conferring with processing management; developing solutions.

• Prepare processing planning information and reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing data and trends.

• Contribute to plant and organization success by welcoming related different and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.

• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 5 years progressive leadership experience.

• 5 years experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
