Lead Daily Operations: Drive performance across safety quality and efficiency while managing production schedules and resource allocation.
Optimize Manufacturing Processes: Develop and refine process routings labor standards and work instructions to ensure consistency and throughput.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen 5S and Value Stream Mapping to eliminate waste.
Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor KPIs related to utilization delivery and quality to drive data-based decision-making.
Team Development: Coach and mentor production staff and supervisors fostering a culture of accountability and ownership.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Sales and Engineering to ensure manufacturing capabilities align with complex customer requirements.
Requirements
5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role specifically within High-Mix/Low-Volume or Job Shop environments.
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Operations Management or a related technical field is preferred.
Credentials: Lean Six Sigma or formal Continuous Improvement (CI) training is highly desirable.
Software/Tools: Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced production planning tools is required.
Technical Standards: Experience working within ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
Expertise: Proven track record in "engineered-to-order" manufacturing and solving technical production problems in real-time.
