Operations Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Assistant to join our team at Meyer Plastics Inc. As the Operations Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our plastic manufacturing company. Your responsibilities will include coordinating production activities monitoring inventory levels preparing production reports assisting with logistics coordination maintaining accurate records and supporting various operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating daily production and operational activities
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products
• Prepare production reports schedules and operational documents
• Support shipping receiving and logistics coordination
• Maintain accurate records of orders deliveries and inventory
• Communicate with suppliers vendors and internal departments
• Assist with quality control documentation and compliance procedures
• Track production deadlines and follow up on pending tasks
• Support purchasing and procurement activities
• Organize files invoices and operational paperwork
• Help improve workflow efficiency and operational processes
• Ensure workplace safety procedures and company policies are followed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or associate degree preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing operations or administrative support is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Basic knowledge of inventory or production processes preferred
