Job Summary
This position is located at: FMWR - Business and Recreation Division - Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA). - Fort Hood Texas.
Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) is a reservoir located near Fort Hood and offers patrons a vast variety of activities including but not limited to: camping boating hiking fishing kayaking paintball horseback riding and mountain biking.
- Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the operation.
- Applies knowledge of the organization its functions and regulations to carry out a wide variety of administrative functions (e.g. personnel accounting budget purchasing logistics and supply transportation security etc.).
- Receives telephone calls and visitors provides required information from own knowledge or office files or refers callers to appropriate person.
- Follows up as required. Types various correspondence and reports. Tabulates statistical data into final format. Gathers data and documentation for special projects and prepares briefing support materials.
- Establishes maintains or controls files and logs.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Basic computer and math skills and clerical and administrative work experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties as described above. Must be able to type 40 words per minute. Must be highly skilled in written and verbal communication.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows Word Excel and other software as required.

- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
