• Pay Rate: $65.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: MID - 12hr; 36hr Day/Night Rotation 12-hour shifts 7a or 7p start times. Every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday. Call: 1x per schedule.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

This is a contract Operating Room Technologist position based in the Menino OR at a major Boston medical facility supporting a 22-room surgical services department staffed 24/7. The technologist may float to the Moakley campus or other OR campuses if needed.

• Perform surgical scrub responsibilities across a broad range of specialty services including general gynecology GU oral otolaryngology bariatrics orthopedics neurosurgery vascular thoracic cardiac plastics podiatry robotics pediatrics trauma and spine.
• Rotate across day and night shifts (36-hour DN rotation 12-hour shifts with 7a or 7p start times).
• Work every 3rd weekend as needed and every other holiday.
• Fulfill call obligation: 1x per schedule.
• Float to Moakley campus or other OR campuses as needed.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude flexibility and excellent communication skills.
• Maintain competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical services.

• NBSTSA certification required no other certification is accepted.
• BLS certification required.

• 3 years of inpatient surgery experience required.
• Level 1 trauma experience required. Must have trauma experience.

• Talent who reside less than 50 miles from the facility will be placed at a local rate; the local rate is $10 less than the posted bill rate.
