QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Florida RN or APRN license
- Minimum of one year of recent OR experience required
- BLS and ALS certifications through AHA or American Red Cross
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Windows
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient safety ethical practice and quality care

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scrub and assist with surgical procedures while delivering high-quality patient care in the OR
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and patients to support efficient surgical flow
- Coordinate implement and evaluate perioperative nursing care throughout procedures
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with patient-specific needs
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient care and surgical activity
- Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately using sound clinical judgment
- Support onboarding and development of new team members students and staff
- Maintain clinical competency through ongoing education trainings and policy updates
- Participate in quality initiatives shared governance and departmental committees
- Foster clear and professional communication with patients families and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in required on-call rotation coverage as needed
