How youll contribute

AOncology Nurse Navigator who excels in this role:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for oncology patients and their families.

  • Guide patients through the cancer care continuum from diagnosis through treatment survivorship and follow-up care.

  • Assess patient family and caregiver needs identifying barriers to care and developing plans to address them.

  • Coordinate appointments diagnostic testing treatments and referrals to ensure timely access to services.

  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis treatment options symptom management medications and available resources.

  • Connect patients with community resources support groups financial assistance programs and survivorship services.

  • Support quality improvement initiatives accreditation requirements and oncology program goals.

What were looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement and possess an Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred

  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 year of oncology experience care coordination case management navigation or patient education preferred.
