Oncology Advanced Practice Provider-Inpatient Float PositionCHOC Specialists in-conjunction with Rady Childrens Health-Orange County is seeking a qualified advanced practice pediatric oncology provider. With demonstrated expertise in oncology the Advanced Practice Provider will function in a support role as a clinical expert in the management of pediatric oncology patients within a family-centered care the direction of the Attending Physician and practicing within developed standardized procedures and process protocols the Advanced Practice Provider will evaluate diagnose and treat oncology patients in an outpatient setting. Central to the role the Advanced Practice Provider will assist in developing and implementing plans of care for all patients in the outpatient clinic or infusion center (OPI) and functions in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary oncology team while also providing consultation and education to patients and their Pediatric Oncology Full Time Float Position 100% Inpatient 4 x 10hr Shifts (Includes weekend & Holiday work) No Call No Nights Procedures Required Salary & Full BenefitsRate of pay is determined by various factors including but not limited to knowledge skills competencies experience education as well as position requirementsThe successful candidate will be a California licensed and certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least two years of bedside experience in direct oncology care. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
