Substitute teachers report to the School Principal and/or the Administrative Assistant to the Principal and are expected to teach a group of students on a temporary basis while the classroom teacher is absent in accordance with the goals and directives of the classroom teacher school and District. The employment of a substitute teacher is at will which allows for their release at any time. Availability of assignments varies from day to day and there is no guarantee of daily work.
