Primary Purpose of the Position
The Patron Services Supervisor provides supervision for the Patron Services Office and events. This pro-staff position is a collaborative member and displays enthusiasm for the mission vision artistic endeavors programs and initiatives of SCUPresents Performing Arts Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Patron Services Manager this dynamic position provides supervisory oversight in a wide range of areas. Patron Services Supervisor is responsible for customer relations for events held in the SCUPresents venues. This position supervises front-of-house operations: box office house management concessions and coordinating volunteers as well as student staff.
Assist with integrating SCUPresents marketing and development components into Patron Services operations.
Provides patron support services to departments university and off-campus clients with Front of House coordination for performances conferences lectures and other events held in any performing arts venue.
Submit all Patron Services reports generated through the box office house management and concession areas. Reports will be submitted for each performance and a final report will be completed for every event.
Assist with project coordination and implementation for the various training and patron services support publications.
Assist with the acquisition oversight training and scheduling of event staff students and volunteers.
Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
1-2 years experience in Patron Services operations: ticketing services box office and/or house management required or relevant experience.
Must be able to work evening performance shifts and weekends.
Must be adaptable to change and assist with staff training on new procedures and policies.
Must be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal customer service problem-solving organizational and communication skills
Detailed oriented.
Must present a professional demeanor and proper dress when dealing with clients.
Must have computer skills and experience and the ability to learn and operate a box office ticketing system which includes online ticketing.
Understanding and support of the Jesuit tradition of education and a commitment to the fundamental values of service to others community and diversity.
