- Diagnose troubleshoot and repair oil boilers burners and heating systems
- Perform preventative maintenance tune-ups and system cleanings
- Service and maintain pumps hoses nozzles and related oil heating equipment
- Service and maintain heating oil tanks including interior and exterior systems
- Respond to service calls and identify and resolve safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and service departments throughout the workday
- Maintain accurate and complete records of service and repairs performed
- Deliver courteous knowledgeable and professional service to customers
- Follow company safety procedures and uphold high standards for quality and efficiency
- Manage the physical demands of the position including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Oil and/or Propane Service Technician
- Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing oil burners boilers and heating systems
- HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with customers dispatchers and team members
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Strong attention to safety quality and efficiency
- Valid drivers license
