Location : Zanesville OH 43701

Project Duration : 13 Weeks contract

Salary Range : $45/hr - $50/hr

Shift: Nights (7p - 7:30a)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)to join our busy 19-bed Renal Med-Surg unitspecializing in the care of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease post-dialysis needs and complex medical-surgical conditions. This high-acuity unit manages a diverse patient population requiring continuous monitoring frequent assessments and multidisciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate is confident in managing renal-related complications while thriving in a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients

Manage patients with acute kidney injury chronic kidney disease and post-dialysis needs

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry

Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units including Wound Care Stroke Oncology Cardiac Observation and ED boarders

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license(required at submission)

Current BLS certification

Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience(renal experience strongly preferred)

Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips

• • Competency test required on Day 1; failure results in immediate contract termination

Epic EMR proficiency(mandatory no training provided)

• • Lack of Epic proficiency results in immediate termination
