Office Coordinator Elkhart IN


This opening with our client is designed as a full-time position supporting both office administration and production operations within a manufacturing environment. Hours will be somewhat flexible initially depending on the training schedule but this role is intended to become a full-time 40-hour-per-week position. For the right candidate a 3032 hour schedule may also be considered and discussed during the interview process.


This position offers long-term growth potential and the opportunity to learn production scheduling reporting order processing and manufacturing operations directly from company leadership.


Job Duties:
Compiling daily production reports labor hours sales numbers material costs and scrap costs
Assisting with preparation of daily weekly and monthly reports for management
Issuing work orders for the production floor based on purchase orders
Collecting and organizing shipping documents for completed work orders
Assisting with maintaining office and production documentation
Maintaining office supply inventory
Answering and directing incoming phone calls
Greeting visitors vendors and customers in a professional manner
Maintaining employee attendance records
Assisting with production scheduling and tracking jobs from start to completion
Supporting purchase order processing and material release documentation
Assisting with sales reporting and shipment tracking
Helping track production costs and job pricing information

Requirements:
High school diploma required; Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Strong Excel and Microsoft Word skills
Previous manufacturing or scheduling experience is helpful
Ability to multitask and manage several details at once
Basic math and reporting skills
Professional communication and customer service abilities
Strong attendance and punctuality are required
Ability to work closely with multiple departments and company leadership
