Description

We are currently hiring a full-time Off Premise Chain Manager for North Texas.The ideal candidate must live in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area.

The Off Premise Chain Manager responsible for increasing availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio of brands within their assigned regional territory to generate depletion growth while adding value to our wholesaler and retailer partners. Primary focus is dedicated to all Off Premise Regional and National large format and liquor accounts while aligning with the Region Manager to execute the programs in their respective addition assist in developing the entire Off Premise COT.

What Youll Brew:

  • Be proficient in BBCs systems and selling process with retailers wholesalers and team of indirect reports
  • Be proficient in beer industry knowledge brewing and BBC product style
  • Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in National/Region/Local account groups while managing budgets to proper ROI
  • Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler accounts and coworkers including ability to deliver creative & impactful presentations with proficiency using PowerPoint
  • Maintain and strengthen buyer & wholesaler relationships through strategic selling and superior customer service
  • Develop & drive Goals Strategies Objectives and Tactics for defined account base
  • Effectively mobilize wholesaler network and BBC sales teams to fulfill all BBC mandates sell vs. authorizations/approved packages compliance issues focus timeframes and other key selling opportunities

What Ingredients Youll Bring:
Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 years Consumer Package Salesto include proven success with managing and developing a team and individuals
  • 1 year experience calling on Off-Premise buyers
  • Experience calling on National and Regional accounts (Tom Thumb Costco Kroger Total Wine HEB and regional retailers within Texas).
  • Ability to interpret data to create selling stories
  • Proficient with Excel PowerPoint data analytic tools like Circana/NIQ PowerBi
  • Must be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beer
  • Valid drivers license registered and insured vehicle and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
  • Local travel to attend Retail and Distributor sales calls and meetings (70%)

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Adult alcohol-beverage industry experience
  • Wholesaler management and/or national account management experience

Level: 6IC
At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws we are open about our salary ranges. For this role the salary range is between $90000 and $140000. However its important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience skillset and location*. Additionally this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
