We are seeking Ocean Import or Export Coordinators for various clients across NY. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end international freight operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on freight forwarding experience and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all stages of international Ocean export or import operations from booking through final delivery ensuring accuracy compliance and on-time execution.
• Handle ocean import or export operations including documentation preparation coordination with overseas agents and shipment execution.
• Prepare and manage rate quotes for customers and international partners for ocean freight.
• Coordinate and oversee consolidated cargo shipments.
• Communicate regularly with overseas agents carriers trucking companies and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations shipping laws and internal procedures.
• Proactively resolve shipment issues to minimize delays or service disruptions.
• Support customer relationships through clear communication responsiveness and issue resolution.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with a freight forwarding company handling ocean import or export operations from start to finish (required).
• Hands-on experience using CargoWise is advantageous
