EDUCATION
Bachelors degree from a program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association or equivalent required. Advanced degree or training strongly encouraged.
EXPERIENCE
One year clinical experience preferred.
LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist or license eligible in the state of Washington required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Ability to work with others and take direction.
2. Ability to work with a neuromuscular compromised patient.
3. Ability to be flexible to work settings with professional skills provided in the outpatient facilities hospital environment or nursing home setting.
4. Clinical skills required include: orthopedics neurological cognitive and manual skills.
5. Ability to make decisions and deal with a variety of detail.
6. Ability to take initiative and provide good judgment in problem solving.
7. Demonstrate ability to dictate reports.
