As a PRN Occupational Therapist you will evaluate and treat patients with challenges related to mobility cognition strength and activities of daily living. Youll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized patient-centered care in accordance with AOTA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients within 2448 hours of physician orders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Supervise OTAs and support care delivery
- Communicate with physicians care teams patients and families
- Document care progress and billing accurately
- Participate in care planning and discharge processes
- Provide caregiver and staff training
- Recommend adaptive equipment to support patient outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Clinical judgment and problem-solving ability
- High level of professionalism ethics and confidentiality
- Passion for delivering compassionate patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapist license (state-specific)
