Job Summary
Under the direction of the Administrator Special Education Local Plan Area provideoccupational therapy treatment to students with special needs enrolled in the educationalprograms of the Local Education Agencies (LEAs). This job class administers occupationaltherapy assessments to determine a students level of function relative to the students age andeducational placement in such areas as fine/gross motor skill development sensorimotorintegration self-care and activities of daily living.
Possession of a valid license from the State of California and certificate of registration issued bythe American Occupational Therapy of a CPR Certificate of a valid California Class C drivers license. Incumbents must be insurable by theliability carrier for the Madera County Superintendent of Schools.
