Our clientEasterseals Crossroadsis seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Childrens Therapy Services team. What Youll Be Doing:
As an Occupational Therapist you will provide evaluation and ongoing therapy services to pediatric consumers in clinic home and community-based settings. You will partner closely with families and other professionals to support each childs development and independence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations; developing treatment diagnoses goals and plans
- Providing direct OT interventions
- Collaborating with families on home programming and transition planning
- Fabricating or recommending adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Managing a clinical caseload and maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Communicating with service coordinators and stakeholders
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings trainings and professional development.
What Theyre Looking For:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Active Indiana OT license through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
- Pediatric and developmental disabilities experience preferred
- Ability to travel between work locations as required.
- Strong knowledge of typical and atypical child development
- Ability to plan adapt and modify environments and materials
- Experience using evidence-based interventions
- Effective communication with children families and professionals
- Strong organization and documentation skills
- Comfort working in active hands-on therapy environments.
