Job Summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our growing Homecare team. If youre passionate about helping patients regain independence in their homes we want to hear from you!

What Youll Do:

  • Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area 
  • Provide 1:1 treatment
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs
  • Deliver care that aligns with professional standards agency policies and the prescribed plan of care
  • Educate family members home health aides and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques
  • Plan and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain improve or restore physical function relieve pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
  • Perform and document an initial exam evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit
  • Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
  • Must be willing to treat geriatric patients.

Qualifications :

  • Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
  • Home health experience is preferred but not required - We will provide you with a mentor to help with documentation and compliance.
  • Ability to travel to patients homes within the assigned geographic territory
  • Strong communication skills between patients support staff and management including timely responses via text email phone etc.

Additional Information :

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90000.00-$100000.00. Salary is based on various factors including relevant experience knowledge skills other job-related qualifications and geography. Medical dental vision 401(k) paid time off and other benefits are also available subject to the terms of the Companys plan.
