Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist for Early Childhood Intervention you will support families with infants and toddlers birth up to three years old with developmental delays and disabilities specializing in fine and gross motor adaptive sensory visionfeedingand cognitive delays. You will provide direct services in the natural learning environment (home or childcare settings) that includeOccupationalTherapy and service coordination/case management. Child & Family Services believes that parenting isa very importantrole and that every parent/caregiver can be successful. As an Occupational Therapist for ECI you will coach parents to learn new skills and techniques to help their children succeed. You willimpactchildren families and the community by supporting the parent-child relationship so that positive outcomesoccurand childrenwill increasetheir functional independence.

Minimum Education:Bachelors Degree

Defined Education:Bachelors degree in occupational therapyAND current Texas licensure in Occupational Therapy.A mastersdegree in occupational therapyis preferred but notrequired.

Experiencein pediatrics training or certification in breast feeding/lactation NDT infant massage or sensory integration preferred. Spanish-speaking a plus.

Carry and lifting requirements 15-25 pounds.
