Your Key Responsibilities:
- Impactful Care Delivery: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and design customized transformative treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each program participant.
- Innovative Therapy: Administer cutting-edge occupational therapy programs continually adapting and updating approaches to maximize participant outcomes and caseload efficiency.
- Collaborative Leadership: Serve as a core member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team collaborating seamlessly with physicians families consultants and community partners.
- Mentorship & Supervision: Direct and inspire assigned staff and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs). You will play a key role in professional development including onboarding training and performance evaluations.
- Continuity of Care: Establish timely home exercise programs and conduct home evaluations to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success for participants.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain precise timely documentation and weekly schedules in accordance with department standards licensing requirements and strict ethics of confidentiality.
What You Bring to the Team:
Education & Experience:
- Degree: Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human services.
- Preferred: One (1) year of specialized experience in neuro-rehabilitation.
Certificates Licenses and Registrations:
- Active Occupational Therapist License (OT/L) in good standing in the state of Georgia.
- Active member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed to support participant home evaluations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Physical Strength: This position involves heavy work requiring the exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally up to 50 pounds frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to safely move objects and support participants.
