Job Summary
Occupational Health Nurse I - 2nd Shiftin GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
2nd shift
Must be licensed in state of Georgia.
Must be able to respond to emregencies.
Must be willing to take on call during hours medical is closed.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with employees and management to support organizational health and safety objectives .
- Promote and facilitate continuity of care through consistent and coordinated medical services .
- Maintain medical records in professional and confidential manner .
- Provide superior nursing care in a professional manner using all available resources .
- Provides timely treatment of work-related injuries .
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of workers compensation per state of employment .
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of all regulatory bodies pertaining to state of employment to include but not limited to DOT FAA OSHA/CalOSHA .
- Understanding of regulatory testing programs to include but not limited to hearing vision respiratory alcohol and drug .
- Administer regulatory testing proficiently .
- Maintain appropriate inventories of medical and first aid supplies .
- Administer the collection and processing of drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Corporate and FAA alcohol and drug program .
- Maintain all medical equipment .
- Remain current with health and medical initiatives .
- BLS Certification DOT Collector and BAT Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
