Job Description & Skill Requirement:
OBD Engineer - Job Description
Lead development and implementation of On Board Diagnostics (OBD) strategies for vehicle systems.
Define and manage OBD requirements in line with regulatory standards (e.g. SAE EPA CARB ECE).
Develop and maintain OBD diagnostics content including DTCs monitors and enablement conditions.
Collaborate with system software and calibration teams to integrate OBD seamlessly into vehicle architectures.
Own OBD documentation DVPs and traceability within requirements management tools.
Support OBD testing validation and certification readiness activities.
Drive issue analysis and resolution related to diagnostic performance and compliance.
Provide technical guidance on OBD concepts processes and best practices.
Ensure timely delivery of compliant OBD solutions aligned with program milestones
