Job Description Summary
The simulation technologist is responsible for operating and maintaining part-task trainers mannequin-based simulators surgical simulators and associated audio visual and computer hardware and software in labs and classrooms in the Nursing Department of the College. Trains and assists faculty in the use of technology to facilitate the process of teaching and learning. Assists faculty in the development of simulation-based instructional components.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma GED or equivalent required. 5 years of job-related experience preferably in nursing technology healthcare simulation or related simulation systems Associates degree preferred in related medical study such as EMT -Paramedic RN Respiratory Therapy or Biomedical Technology Computer Science Information Systems or related area.
