Job Description:

Job Summary:

Teaches nursing courses in a clinical/lab environment; maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field. Provides instruction in practical applications of nursing in the clinical setting and skills lab; Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports required for clinical; ensures safety and security requirements are met in the discipline area; meets with students staff members and other educators to discuss students progress. Requires strong computer skills communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population. Position may require committee and project assignments or other duties as assigned as well as day evening and weekend clinicals and activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Registered Nursing from an accredited institution and demonstrated competence/experience in the teaching discipline.
Valid Georgia RN license and current BLS (CPR) Certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in the past 7 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Registered Nursing from an accredited institution.
Teaching experience in postsecondary education.
Recent teaching experience.

Salary/Benefits: $32.00 per hour
