Nursing Care Manager Details

Essential Job Duties:

  • Performs RN job responsibilities and participates in patient care improvement committees.
  • Holds 24-hour accountability for unit management staff development and compliance with education.
  • Provides guidance for staff in patient care monitors quality and communicates effectively.
  • Manages the unit including budget input staffing supervision and employee appraisals.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies coordinates performance improvement and guides staff on ethical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program - Baccalaureate degree.
  • Three or more years of Dialysis experience
  • Management experience preferred

License/Certification:

  • Currently licensed by the Health Professions Service Bureau Indiana State Board of Nurses as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS level of CPR certification is required
