JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: NY State License
- Board: Board Certified in Specialty
- Certifications: BLS ACLS ATLS (AHA or RQI)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience
- Other Qualifications: Epic Experience Required; No Residents or Fellows; NY License in Hand
- Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients working closely with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Serve as Surgical First Assist in the Operating Room performing procedures such as wound cauterization vessel packing patient positioning clamp and suture placement skin closure hemostasis and immobilization.
- Manage medical-surgical floor coverage including rounding progress notes orders discharges and consults.
- Work with General Surgery OB/GYN and Orthopedic patients.
- Participate in weekday and weekend on-call coverage as scheduled.
