Position Summary

Delivers comprehensive high quality primary care to a population in an outpatient setting. The ARNP will provide comprehensive primary care services focusing on prevention chronic disease management and health promotion for diverse patient populations. This role requires collaboration with physicians RNs pharmacists social workers behavioral health specialists and other professionals to optimize the health of MultiCare communitiesResponsibilities Direct Patient CareConducts comprehensive assessments diagnose conditions develop plans and prescribe medications for patients across the lifespanDiagnoses and treats acute and chronic disease using evidence-based guidelinesRefers to specialists when necessaryParticipates in the coverage for clinic colleagues per departmental guidanceParticipates in after-hours call coverage per departmental guidanceTimely and accurate documentation inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous carePopulation Health and Clinical QualityEnsures comprehensive primary care for a population including risk assessment preventive care and oversight for optimal management of chronic conditions including the cardiovascular- kidney- metabolic data and risk stratification to identify high risk patients to prioritize outreach and gap closure defined by best evidenceSupports transitions of care and reduced readmissions and ED useProactively participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and care outcomesSupports proactive outreach to populations at greatest riskCollaborates with a multidisciplinary team physicians/APPs RNs Pharmacists and care coordinators/community health workersParticipation in team meetingsCitizenshipDemonstrates the MultiCare values of compassion stewardship kindness joy collaboration and respectAdheres to MultiCare policies and processesRequirementsMaintains active Washington State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licenseDEA and state prescriptive authorityCurrent BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package including competitive salary medical dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $161800.00 - $170600.00 USD. However pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants including but not limited to: skill set level of experience and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
