Nurse Intern Inpatient Psych

• Under the direct supervision of an RN; Responsible for providing quality care and monitoring of patients. Maintains safe environment for patients staff and visitors; maintains properly functioning equipment and availability of equipment supplies and drugs.
• Assists physicians; informs physicians of relevant information; provides support to families.
• Participates in an assistance capacity to RN but cannot perform the functions of assessment and evaluation in their entirety.
• The position of Nurse Intern will only be available up to six months from the date of graduation.

• Transcripts or verification from appropriate college indicating school status or copy of diploma required.
• Must meet one of the following requirements:

1. RN student entering final semester of a three-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
   
2. RN student entering senior year of a four- year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
   
3. RN student entering final seven months of a 15-month Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
   
4. RN student entering final semester of content for an Associate Degree RN Program
