Job Summary:
As a certified Nurse Midwife you will provide comprehensive prenatal intrapartum and postpartum care ensuring that every family feels supported and empowered throughout their journey.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing prenatal care and counseling for pregnant women
- Assisting in labor and delivery providing support to mothers
- Performing newborn assessments and providing postnatal care
- Conducting routine gynecological exams
- Providing family planning services and contraceptive counseling
- Educating patients on reproductive health and wellness
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Nurse-Certified Midwife
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
- Active nursing license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse-Certified Midwife
- Experience in a clinical setting specializing in midwifery
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $59.63 to $69.63 per hour depending on addition to competitive pay benefits may include healthcare coverage retirement plans paid time off and ongoing professional development opportunities.
