POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Performs nuclear medicine and radiographic procedureswith proper patient positioning technique selection and equipment operation

  • Ensures patient safety and quality care including identification education monitoring and adherence to radiation safety (ALARA)

  • Manages imaging workflow and systems(RIS/PACS) ensuringaccuratedocumentation image transfer and proper coding

  • Maintains quality assurance and compliancewith ACR regulatory standards and internal protocols

  • Collaborates with radiologists and team memberswhile staying current through ongoing education and supporting training efforts

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education Graduated fromaccreditedNuclear Medicine program.

  • Certification ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) CPR BLS MRT CEU creditsmaintained.

  • Must be proficient in venipunctureproficiency.

  • Mustdemonstrateknowledge of cardiac EKG set-up QA proceduresregardingmaintenance of hot lab and imaging devices and the function and use of ADAC/Phillipsequipment.
