POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs nuclear medicine and radiographic procedureswith proper patient positioning technique selection and equipment operation
Ensures patient safety and quality care including identification education monitoring and adherence to radiation safety (ALARA)
Manages imaging workflow and systems(RIS/PACS) ensuringaccuratedocumentation image transfer and proper coding
Maintains quality assurance and compliancewith ACR regulatory standards and internal protocols
Collaborates with radiologists and team memberswhile staying current through ongoing education and supporting training efforts
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education Graduated fromaccreditedNuclear Medicine program.
Certification ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) CPR BLS MRT CEU creditsmaintained.
Must be proficient in venipunctureproficiency.
Mustdemonstrateknowledge of cardiac EKG set-up QA proceduresregardingmaintenance of hot lab and imaging devices and the function and use of ADAC/Phillipsequipment.
