Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Design Hire is seeking experienced Designers and Drafters for multiple commercial nuclear design openings. These roles are a strong fit for candidates with recent nuclear plant design experience who can support accurate technical drawings design packages and project documentation across highly regulated engineering environments.


Key Responsibilities

Prepare and revise discipline-specific drawings layouts details and design documentation for commercial nuclear projects.
Work from engineering markups redlines specifications field information and existing plant drawings.
Support design updates plant modifications replacement work and construction-support documentation.
Coordinate with engineers checkers and multi-discipline project teams to resolve drawing and design issues.
Maintain accuracy revision control and documentation quality throughout the design process.


Qualifications

Recent commercial nuclear design or drafting experience required.
Experience in one or more disciplines: structural electrical mechanical or piping design.
AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience required.
Electrical candidates should have experience with wiring diagrams schematics raceway layouts or related electrical design documentation.
Structural candidates should have experience with foundations structures equipment supports or related structural details.
Mechanical / piping candidates should have experience with P&IDs piping layouts pumps motors or related mechanical system drawings.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings engineering markups specifications and plant documentation.
Strong attention to detail organization communication and ability to work in a quality-driven design environment.
