Job Summary
Each of our 18 different school sites is a School of Choice with individual focuses such as health and fitness drama and the arts technology music and science just to mention a district is broken into four areas called quadrants. Students have the opportunity to choose any school within the quadrant in which they live based on their interest AND still have transportation works consistently to meet the needs of 12000 students through providing quality professional development for our staff collaborating with parents and community members listening to students and benchmarking best practices across the nation.
Under the direction of the Principal and/or School Safety Coordinator supervises and directs large groups of children in various locations on a school openings at various school sites. Openings include assignments as Cafeteria Noon Duty Supervisors Playground/Roving Noon Duty Supervisors and/or Crossing Guards. Hours for each opening vary up to 3.75 hours per day Monday thru positions support the enrollment needs of the District and the location assignment may change at the discretion of the District.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge ofSchool rules regulations policies and toWork independently Follow directions and instructions Work cooperatively with students coworkers teachers and administratorsBe firm but fair in enforcing speak and communicate effectively Have good judgment in matters of safety Work with children in groups or individuallyEXPERIENCE:RequiredNoneDesired (preference will be given to applicants with experience)Experience in working with elementary age children.
