Non-CDL Truck Driver - LOCAL - HOME DAILY - OVER-TIME AVAILABLE

We are currently hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver (also known as Box Truck Driver Local Delivery Driver or Straight Truck Driver) to drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area.

Non-CDL Truck Driver - LOCAL - HOME DAILY - OVER-TIME AVAILABLE

  • Position: Non-CDL Truck Driver
  • 1st Shift: Flexible Early Morning Shifts Monday to Friday 6:30AM - 3:00PM
  • Pay: starting at $24.12
  • Hours: 40-50 hours per week
  • Overtime: 0-10 hours per week
  • Pay Schedule: Weekly paycheck (every Thursday)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
  • Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets fuel consumption logs daily log sheets bills of lading vehicle trip records and expense reports.
  • Ensures all cargo is loaded checked and safely secured during transit.
  • Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
  • Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
  • Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.
  • Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1 years recent commercial delivery-driving experience.
  • Valid state-issued drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Capacity to demonstrate reliability adaptability and dependability.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Will need a DOT medical card

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution manufacturing technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
  • Strong commitment to customer service

Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • The ability to lift push and/or pull up to 50 lbs. if necessary
  • Flexible early morning shifts
  • Comfortable sitting for extended periods

DOT Medical Card Requirement:
This offer of employment is contingent upon your possession of a valid DOT Medical Card or alternatively your ability to obtain a legally compliant DOT Medical Card within ten (10) days of your hire date.


Drivers License Requirement:
As a condition of employment you must possess a valid and legally compliant drivers license for the state in which you reside or alternatively demonstrate the ability to obtain such a license in that state.
