Job Description:
Brox Industries Inc. is currently seeking a Night Trucking Coordinator in Dracut MA. This position will be responsible for overseeing Broxs Night Time Trucking Operation. The goal for the position is to communicate with and connect field personnel asphalt plant personnel operations and trucking to ensure daily operations are executed efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
Meet and greet all night drivers. Inspect Truck Bodies Body Up and Back Up Alarms making sure they are up to Broxs Standards.
Stay in consistent communication with the Asphalt Plants QC ground personnel and Milling/Paving Foreman to make sure all trucks are flowing efficiently.
Consistently checking XBE Platform to make sure all trucks have reported to work checked in and are using their GPS.
Consistently checking the XBE Platform to monitor trucking efficiency. Moving trucks when there is a surplus to other jobs to maximize performance.
At the end of shift verify that all trucks have been signed out and all tickets match in the XBE Platform.
Visit job sites when needed to ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all Brox Safety Policies and Procedures.
Conduct ride alongs with Broxs Internal Fleet Drivers.
Assist with accident/incident response along with plant and/or computer breakdowns by working with Logistics Manager Safety and other departments communicating impacts to orders or service internally and to customers.
Maintain and restock trucker supply inventory.
Communicate and reinforce company vision value and goals.
Qualifications:
Experience in the paving industry
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven skills for prioritizing delegating and follow up.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to interact effectively with others and resolve conflicts.
Track record of strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
