Job Summary: | In the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as part of the larger University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine we have access to an intensive care unit cutting-edge equipment and multiple teams of subspecialists in female health. This allows us to address even the most complex medical problems. We also provide a wide array of reconstructive surgical options including minimally invasive and robotic surgery. The individual in this position will function as the liaison between the patient and the providers for all non-clinical issues including scheduling office visits and procedures within the clinics communicating pre-appointment instructions and appointment confirmations insurance verifications and/or pre-authorizations as necessary. The Surgery Scheduler will NOT disseminate any clinical information such as diagnosis test results or post care instructions. They must be able to analyze the facultys availability when scheduling patients for new patient visits and surgeries. They must understand the length of time needed for a particular visit type and schedule patient appropriately. They must be able to identify conflicts in these schedules review them with the appropriate physician and resolve them in a timely manner. This position interacts with patients faculty scheduling staff research staff clinic staff hospital and department administration and insurance representatives daily in providing support for scheduling appointments and surgeries. This position may also support some administrative needs of assigned providers. This position will work under the direction of the Clinical Operations Manager for the Department. Work Location: | This role is primarily in person 3-5 days per week on the Anschutz Medical Campus with an option to work 0-2 days per week remotely while remaining available as needed for in-person meetings. |

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $48289 - $52877. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
