JOB REQUIREMENTS
Active Indiana Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency
Certifications: Flu and COVID vaccination required or approved medical/religious exemption
Experience: More than 2 years
Other Qualifications: IMLC candidates not accepted; must be available for the exact December 1421 coverage dates
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide inpatient Neurology coverage.
Evaluate and manage acute and complex neurologic conditions.
Provide stroke care including thrombolytic therapy when clinically indicated.
Perform required Neurology procedures and diagnostic testing.
Provide call coverage and respond to callbacks as required.
Complete provider order entry and document patient care in Epic.
Enter worked hours through the Vemsta digital timesheet platform.
