Role Description:

• Neurologist
• Denver CO
• Outpatient Primary Care
• Evaluating diagnosing and managing conditions affecting the nervous system
• General Outpatient neurology position.
• Conducting Neurological Exams: Assessing physical and cognitive function including reflexes cranial nerves balance muscle strength sensory perception and coordination.
• Ordering and Interpreting Diagnostic Tests: Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to pinpoint the structural or electrical root of a issue:
• Neuroimaging: Brain and spine MRI CT scans and PET scans.
• Electrophysiology: EEG (brain activity monitoring) EMG (muscle activity testing) and NCS (nerve conduction studies).
• Laboratory Work & Procedures: Lumbar punctures (spinal taps) and blood or genetic panels.
• Designing Treatment Plans: Prescribing pharmaceuticals recommending physical or occupational therapy managing medical devices (like deep brain stimulators or vagus nerve stimulators) and coordinating multidisciplinary care.

Requirements:

• Colorado State Medical License
• Must be Board Certified / Board Eligible Neurology
