REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General neurology outpatient evaluation and management including: new patient evaluations follow-up visits diagnostic test interpretation medication management care coordination.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Neurology (ABPN or AOBNP)
  • Licenses: Active NJ License (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA: Active DEA and NJ CDS
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency (Cerner/Oracle Fusion) willingness to rotate among three locations ability to work independently team collaboration
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Evaluate & manage new and established adult and geriatric general-neurology patients.
  • Manage common neurological conditions including headache migraine seizure disorders neuropathy movement disorders multiple sclerosis cognitive disorders and post-stroke follow-up.
  • Review diagnostic imaging laboratory results and outside medical records; order appropriate testing and manage medications.
  • Coordinate care with primary care providers APPs specialists and other members of the neuroscience team.
  • Complete documentation patient messages test-result review and follow-up responsibilities promptly; provide independent outpatient coverage across multiple practice locations.
