RUBICON TECHNICAL SERVICES is seeking an entry-level Network Specialist to join our growing team. This full-time remote position based in Kennesaw offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within the Facilities Services industry. As a Network Specialist you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability performance and security of our network infrastructure.

In this role you will support day-to-day network operations help resolve connectivity issues and collaborate with IT and facility teams to ensure seamless communication systems across our organization. We are looking for a motivated individual with a foundational understanding of networking principles and a strong desire to learn and develop technical expertise in a real-world environment.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive onboarding mentorship and hands-on experience with modern network technologies. This remote role allows you to work from home while collaborating with a dedicated team and we offer a competitive salary range of $85400 - $102800 per year (USD) based on experience plus opportunities for professional advancement.

Responsibilities
  • Support the installation configuration and maintenance of network hardware and software
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential connectivity issues
  • Assist in troubleshooting network incidents and implementing effective resolutions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations procedures and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects
  • Respond to user requests regarding network access connectivity and security
  • Participate in routine network maintenance activities including updates and patches
  • Assist with implementing network best practices to optimize reliability and performance
  • Escalate complex network issues to senior specialists while following established protocols
  • Support the integration of network systems with facility services applications and tools
Requirements
  • Entry-level experience or foundational knowledge of computer networking concepts
  • Understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP and basic network protocols
  • Familiarity with routers switches firewalls and network monitoring tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving network technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
  • Self-motivated and disciplined when working in a remote environment
  • Ability to follow technical documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Basic knowledge of network security principles and best practices
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Relevant certifications or coursework in networking (e.g. CompTIA Network CCNA) are preferred but not required
