Network SATCOM Field Service Representative

The Opportunity:
Qualified candidates must have experience in configuring Cisco device such as routers switches firewalls and Cradle point (wireless routers). Experience operating and configuring Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT). Have a working knowledge of the installation configuration operation and maintaining iDirect modems. Must be capable of integration fielding installation testing and evaluation maintenance and Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM) in Department of Defense (DoD) C5ISR systems subsystems and equipment.

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) shall provide Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support 24 hours a day 7days a week 365 days a year for all Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Satellite Deployable Nodes (SDN) Family of Systems (FOS) via telephone email and/or on-site support to maintain 24/7 deployable status. Field Support Representative (FSR) will provide technical support on all equipment and material under the SOCOM SDN program to all personnel supporting the SOCOM SDN Program. Provides 24/7 on-site and telephonic support for CONUS and OCONUS SDN Terminals.


Responsibilities:
Provides Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support which includes but is not limited to Tier III repairs to systems that are beyond the technical expertise of the organizations level. Provides installation operation and maintenance training and troubleshooting for personnel.

On the Job Training (OJT) CERPs and equipment upgrade of systems. Generating and maintaining work orders and shipping /return of CONUS and OCONUS equipment requiring maintenance. Conducts bench testing of all components and apply appropriate action to correct repair or replace said equipment. Assists in research and development efforts as requested and modification of new and existing systems. Primary technician for satellite deployable nodes which service associated with the SDN family of systems. Provide weekly and as needed deliverables depicting support provided to the customers.

Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches Specialized experience in the design development testing analysis operation or maintenance of Command Control Communications Computers Cyber Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems Deployable addition the candidate should have knowledge in the use and configuration of High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) devices Broadband Global Access Networks (BGAN) and INMARSAT networks and LAN/WAN topologies.

Responsible for participating in promoting improving maintaining and supporting all telecommunications services and/or systems.


Qualifications:

Required:
Active Secret Clearance with ability to acquire and maintain Top Secret w/SCI training in DoD C5ISR systems to include Satellite Communications Equipment or Networking Equipment

Minimum of twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with Joint Warfighter C4ISR systems to include three (3) of the following four (4)areas: Systems Requirements Operational Requirements Test & Evaluation and Training. Must be a recognized expert who has demonstrated leadership in C5ISR systems development logistics support or test & evaluation.
