Network Project Manager III- #26-21341

Duration: 12 months

• Analyzes architecture relationship between systems and systems flow of end-to-end designs.
• Interface with Engineering Operations and Network Planning organizations to serve and support proper designs needed to simplify and modernize the legacy network.
• Track monthly Engineering and Operations progress to ensure progress is being made to achieve Open For Sales Copper Migration and Switch shutdown targets.
• Sharing progress with leaders and other stakeholders with dashboards and reports.

• Strategic & Analytical Thinking
• Ability to assess network topology and identify consolidation opportunities
• Cost-benefit analysis evaluating which sites/circuits to consolidate and when
• Scenario planning modeling different consolidation sequences and their impact
• Network & Infrastructure Knowledge
• Deep understanding of network architecture (WAN LAN MPLS SD-WAN circuits)
• Familiarity with facility types data centers comms rooms edge sites
• Understanding of capacity planning and service dependencies
• Data & Inventory Management
• Ability to work with network inventory systems and asset registers
• Identifying gaps redundancies and rationalization opportunities in circuit/equipment data
• Proficiency in Excel/data tools for modeling and reporting

• Stakeholder Engagement
• Presenting consolidation recommendations to senior leadership
• Aligning strategy with business goals across multiple departments
• Managing pushback from teams resistant to site changes
• Financial & Commercial Awareness
• Understanding lease obligations carrier contracts and exit costs
• Building business cases for consolidation decisions
• Tracking realized savings against strategy targets
• Vendor & Carrier Knowledge
• Understanding carrier landscapes and contract structures
• Identifying opportunities to renegotiate or exit unfavorable contracts
