Network Migration & Infrastructure Transformation Project Manager

Our Client an IT Services and Consultant company is looking for a Network Migration & Infrastructure Transformation Project Manager for their Milwaukee WI/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery & Governance
• Lead end-to-end execution of network migration and transformation projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans schedules milestones and status reports.
• Manage project risks dependencies issues and escalations.
• Coordinate activities across customer engineering operations and leadership teams.
• Conduct governance meetings and provide executive-level reporting.
• Technical Oversight
• Act as the primary technical project lead for network transformation activities.
• Review and validate technical deliverables produced by engineering teams.
• Ensure migration readiness technical compliance and adherence to customer requirements.
• Verify removal of customer-specific proprietary information security settings banners naming conventions and related configuration elements before migration handover activities.
• Partner with network SMEs to review migration plans implementation schedules and post-migration validation results.
• Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders technical teams and program leadership.
• Drive discussions related to migration planning cutover coordination and issue resolution.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical execution.
• Provide timely communication on project status risks and mitigation plans.
• Quality Assurance & Validation
• Support technical validation checkpoints throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Ensure required technical reviews audits and governance controls are completed.
• Monitor adherence to migration standards operational procedures and customer-specific requirements.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• 15 years of IT industry experience.
• 5 years of Project Management or Program Management experience.
• Prior hands-on experience in Networking Infrastructure or Network Operations.
• Strong understanding of:
• Cisco Routing & Switching
• WAN/LAN Technologies
• Network Security Fundamentals
• Enterprise Network Infrastructure
• Network Migration and Transformation Programs
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.
• Strong communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
