Job Description

The Network Engineer provides operational support for DFCs enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco routing/switching and Aruba wireless infrastructure. This role ensures secure reliable and high-performing connectivity for users applications and systems across the DFC locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support for Cisco-based routing switching and related infrastructure (Catalyst Nexus ISR/ASR platforms)
• Monitor Cisco device health link utilization and error conditions using SNMP NetFlow and Syslog
• Support Aruba wireless infrastructure including access point health coverage and performance monitoring
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues escalated from the Service Desk
• Support VLAN configuration and port-level access changes through approved Change Management
• Maintain configuration documentation and network diagrams
• Coordinate firmware updates and maintenance windows as approved
• Participate in Major Incident bridges for P1 network outages

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience with Cisco routing/switching (OSPF BGP EIGRP VLANs)
• Proficiency with Aruba wireless infrastructure and Aruba Central
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools (SNMP NetFlow Syslog)
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and Change Management
