Job Summary

Name of position: .Net/Oracle Developer/ MS SQL Developer 5984-1

Location: 2 Broadway NY This is a hybrid role with 3 days on site (or more as needed) and 2 days remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Developer with strong experience working with Oracle and MS SQL Server environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing configuring deploying and troubleshooting applications and services built primarily on the Microsoft technology stack.

This role involves both independent task execution and collaborative work within a team-oriented agile environment.

Responsibilities:

Install configure and maintain web applications APIs web services Windows services and Windows desktop applications.

Configure and manage Internet Information Services (IIS) including application pools site bindings SSL certificate installation and renewal.

Use GitBash for cloning repositories managing branches and pulling updates as part of the development workflow.

Build troubleshoot and debug applications across development QA and production environments.

Perform unit testing and regression testing to ensure application functionality stability and quality.

Configure connection strings application settings environment variables and related deployment configurations.

Work with MS SQL Server to write queries stored procedures and perform basic database maintenance.

Utilize front-end technologies such as JavaScript CSS and Bootstrap to support application interfaces.

Collaborate with team members using Jira for sprint planning task tracking and agile workflow management.

Assist in identifying diagnosing and resolving production issues in a timely manner.

Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure proper version control practices branching strategies and deployment readiness across multiple environments.

Experience Framework and/ Core.

Familiarity with Oracle databases and SQL development.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Required Skills:

Minimum (18) months experience as an iOS developer. BS or BA degree from accredited college or university in computer science or related. Experience with Xcode & Instruments Swift Swift UI & Objective-C. Experience with design patterns MVC MVVM MV Singleton Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) Concurrency multithreading and operational queues. Experience with Core/Swift Data & persistent stores Experience with handling & parsing JSON from Webservices/APIs. Experience using the following tools: GitHub Firebase Crashlytics Swift CI/CD. AI tools such as and Cursor. Responsibilities include ownership of assigned application design & development tasks vetting technical requirements with business timely debugging & resolution of reported issues assist team members with coding/technical issues managing data technical documentation and integrating APIs Experience with UI/UX designs and wireframes. Experience in creating technical documentation. Strong leadership oral and written communications skills. Strong analytical and debugging skills. Experience with Unit Testing and code reviews. Expected to be able to work independently take ownership of work while also working well as a team member and provide team leadership and mentoring.
